In a sunny neighborhood of Naples where everyone knows each other, Mario and Lino, two inseparable friends, live each day engulfed in the monotony of neighborhood life. Until the day when everything changes: Annaluce, Lino’s little sister, begins to work miracles and becomes the boss of the neighborhood. For both of them, the unthinkable happens, and a door opens to a new world that will lead them to take different paths, risking everything, even the most important thing they have: their brotherly friendship.

film profile]. Recently screened as part of the Venice College Cinema Biennale earlier this year, the film has been described as “a bitter comedy”, featuring both tragic and fairytale elements. The main cast includes Francesco Pellegrino, Vincent Antonucci, Sophie Guastaferro, Pina di Gennaro, Gianfelice Imparato, Alessandra Mantic, Sara Rici and Carlo Gertrude. The image will participate in the feature film competition that will be organized by the Rome Independent Film Festival (18-26 November).
The miracle child was produced by Valentina Quarantini and Marco Luca Cattaneo for the Raindogs of Italy. TVCO and Minerva Pictures are handling the film’s international sales.
