In a sunny district of Naples where everyone knows each other, Mario and Lino, two inseparable friends, live daily immersed in the monotony of neighborhood life. Until the day when everything changes: Annaluce, Lino’s little sister, begins to work miracles and becomes the boss of the neighborhood. For both of them, the unthinkable happens, and a door opens to a new world that will lead them to take different paths, risking everything, even the most important thing they have: their brotherly friendship.

film profile]. Recently screened as part of the Biennale College Cinema in Venice earlier this year, the film has been described as “a bitter comedy”, featuring both tragic elements and fairy tales. The main cast includes Francesco Pellegrino, Vincenzo Antonucci, Sophie guastaferro, Pina Di Gennaro, Gianfelice Imparato, Alessandra mantice, Sara ricci and Carlo Gertrude. The film will participate in the feature film competition to be organized by the Rome Independent Film Festival (November 18-26).
The miracle child was produced by Valentina quarantini and Marco Luca Cattaneo for Italian Raindogs. TVCO and Minerva Pictures are in charge of international sales of the film.
