English actor and founder of the Reclaim party Laurence Fox has announced that he will play President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, in an upcoming independent film called My Son Hunter.
Produced by Irish Conservative filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney, who announcement the film in March of this year, My Son Hunter aims to “tell the story of the corruption of the Biden family”.

Sharing a clip on his personal Twitter account, Fox explained why he was excited to play Hunter Biden in the upcoming indie project.
“I I’m so happy to have been temporarily uncancelled and asked again to put my acting shoes back on to play #HunterBiden, wrote the actor-turned-political leader on Twitter. “It is by no means a source of great pleasure to me that the filmmakers are battling against the woke lecture that is modern drama.”

The actor went on to explain that My Son Hunter is “a brilliant, surreal and funny script,” adding that the reason the film’s script will be so compelling is “mainly because it’s true.”
Fox also reassured members of his political party that his role in the film did not mean he would step down as party leader. For now, deputy Reclaim party leader Martin Daubney will do most of the work.
“But don’t worry, friends and foes, I’m not retiring from my day job as leader of the Reclaim Party,” Fox said. “In fact, we will be making some exciting announcements in the coming weeks. But for the next few weeks I will be juggling two jobs at the same time, and as a result the ever-valiant Martin Daubney will keep the ship stable until I return.
Laurence Fox went on to detail how he took on the role because “I’m so fascinated by the Hunter Biden story, especially how vigorously the mainstream media continues to try to suppress it.”
“I couldn’t resist the offer to step into her world and speak her truth. So on some level, we’re both cancelled. Hunter’s story and the truth of Hunter can finally be told.
“I wonder if I can still play,” Fox later joked, before adding that he’s “about to find out.”
Regarding its repeated mention that it was previously canceled, Fox is likely referring to an event that took place in November of last year.
According to The Independentthe Artists Rights Group, the agency which represented the English actor, made the decision to drop Fox amid controversy stemming from alleged racist comments.
“I want to thank my acting agent who let me on the phone earlier for restating exactly why I’m doing what I’m doing,” Fox wrote on Twitter at the time. “I’m still waiting for a single example of anything I’ve said or done that could be considered racist. We’re going to reclaim freedom, fairness and common sense.
Cancellation attempts against him may also be from a January 2020 episode of BBC Question Time, in which Fox was chastised by a university professor and racial ethnicity researcher for “refuting claims that the media’s treatment of [Duchess of Sussex] Meghan Markle was racially motivated.
“We are the most tolerant and charming country in Europe,” Fox said. “It’s so easy to blame everyone for racism, and it’s really starting to get boring now.”
The college professor accused Fox of not understanding what Markle had been through because he was “a privileged white man,” to which the actor replied, “I can’t help but be that that I am”.
“I was born that way,” Fox explained. “It is an immutable characteristic. So to call me a privileged white man is to be racist. You are racist.
