Emerging UK filmmakers selected for Film the House competition



LONDON, November 24, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Film the House is delighted to announce the latest local talent for up-and-coming filmmakers and writers. Organized in collaboration with the parliament, the annual congress film and screenwriting competitions for UK students and independent filmmakers is a fun and innovative way to highlight the importance of intellectual property rights to creators, legislators and the general public.

This year’s competition has parliamentary sponsorship from Lord Clement-Jones, MP Jo Stevens and MP Giles Watling. Categories include Best Screenplay and Best Short Film, with prizes for those under 19 and over, as well as Best Director for those under 19 and over.
