BBC EastEnders’ Zack Morris lands FILM role just two weeks after leaving Albert Square


EastEnders actor Zack Morris, who is best known for playing Keegan Baker, landed a film role after announcing his departure from the soap opera. The 23-year-old shared the exciting news of his ‘new job’ on Twitter today (March 1) in a post that read: ‘On my way to the airport to start a new job just 10 days after getting some left one.”

The star kept his latest venture a secret, saying only that it was something he “didn’t expect” in the tweet: “This really is the stuff of dreams. Never expected this let it happen! The hard work and overtime is really starting to pay off.”

Many excited fans were slightly taken aback by the startling post, as it’s only been two weeks since he left Albert Square and just days after he hit the headlines. Nonetheless, it was clear that his fan base was thrilled as they quickly praised him. One person wrote: “Well Zack your face will be missed on EE, can’t wait to see you on your next adventure.”

Another tearful fan added: “I will really miss you in Eastenders you are an amazing actor now you deserve a wonderful future in your next roles well done lots of love Zack”.

The actor’s on-screen mother, Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen Taylor, wrote a message on Twitter to the star that read, “Go ahead my son…literally!! Can’t wait to know more, big kisses and big hugs.”

It has now been confirmed that his next project is a new movie titled Jericho Ridge, Digital espionage reports. Zack will appear alongside many famous faces including: Nikki Amuka-Bird, Michael Socha, Chris Reilly, Philipp Christopher, Solly McLeod and Capital T.
